Mark Deschenes brings to Abbott his extensive knowledge of real estate and construction. Over his 15-year career, Mark has held positions with major construction and engineering firms as well as development and investment companies. His diverse background provides invaluable skills in both the technical and financial aspects of real estate.
Prior to Abbott, Mark was Vice President and Partner at Sea-Dar Construction where he oversaw the construction of numerous multifamily projects including luxury condominiums and historic rehabilitation projects. As a company executive, his responsibilities included the oversight of project managers, estimating, budgeting, and purchasing. In his role as Partner, Mark was accountable for project as well as company-wide profitability. Mark has also held positions at Boylston Properties, Shawmut Design & Construction and Fay Spofford & Thorndike.
Mark holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Babson College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
