Walter Savard is an experienced construction manager and talented craftsman with over 20 years experience in the building trades. He is a Class 1 licensed builder and general contractor in Massachusetts (License #042115).
From 1985 to 1994, Walter was the superintendent and foreman for Cedarich, Inc, a South Shore contractor of custom built homes and commercial properties which included the construction of facilities for Tedeschi Realty (convenience stores), Purity Supreme
Supermarkets (since acquired by the Stop & Shop Companies) and NHD Hardware. His project management responsibilities also included cost estimating and cost control. On behalf of Cedarich, Walter was a subcontractor for the Davenport Building Company at Thirwood Place, a retirement and assisted living facility in excess of 100 units located in Yarmouth, MA.
In the mid-1990's, Walter worked as a subcontractor to Dale Construction Corp., and Dwight D. Mossman on several projects at the Norman Peltz estate in New York's Westchester County. These included the construction of an $800,000 garage, $2 million of renovations to a 19,000 SF English Tudor mansion, and construction of a $4.5 million pool project.
Over the past several years, Walter has been managing the construction of new, upper-end custom homes and home renovations in Duxbury, Kingston, and Plymouth, MA.
