John P. McDonough, Senior Vice President

As Senior Vice President, Mr. McDonough heads up asset management for Abbott. His responsibilities include oversight for the portfolio of existing properties, as well as overseeing development management of all projects under construction.

Mr. McDonough has over 23 years experience in the real estate industry, including 6 years at Abbott. Prior to Abbott, Mr. McDonough was an Investment Officer with John Hancock Financial Services in the Real Estate Investment Group. While there, Mr. McDonough was an Asset Manager responsible for a variety of real estate investments and portfolios located throughout the U.S. During his tenure, Mr. McDonough was responsible for over 40 individual properties and/or investments with an asset value in excess of $600,000,000.

In addition, Mr. McDonough was part of the John Hancock Disposition Team responsible for selling 182 properties valued at over $2.2 billion over a 15 month period. Mr. McDonough completed 23 property transactions with a value in excess of $250,000,000.

Before John Hancock, Mr. McDonough's experience included asset management for Aldrich Eastman and Waltch (AEW), a Boston-based pension fund advisor, and asset and partnership management for First Winthrop Company, a Boston-based real estate investment firm.

Mr. McDonough holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Babson College.
